BURGERS. The best burgers I've ever had! Walking past the humble doorway of Mary's, you'd never anticipate a unique, grungy rock bar with the most delicious burgers in history awaits. No reservations but the queue moves quickly and is worth the wait.

Looks can be deceiving. This unique cocktail bar is hidden behind the facade of a 'butcher', but don't be fooled- I've had the best whisky sour on earth at this bar! Unpretentious and vibrant, this is one of my favourite local bars.

This jazzed up local pub is an absolute gem. With a fantastic selection of drinks, amazing decor and delicious food, staying local never tasted this good.

Taronga is hands down one of my favourite zoos on the planet, not only for their emphasis on sustainability, welfare and conservation, but that view- enough to make you fall in love with Sydney! Do NOT miss the bird show- it's a treat for the eyes.
