A lovely walk around limehouse basin. Also walk up the Regent’s Canal or the Hertford Canal. Pretty semi urban walks.

A lovely walk up the canal. The canal entrance is nearly opposite my apartment.
Walk up towards Mile End. The canal goes all the way past King’s Cross station and to Regent’s Park and London Zoo…That’s much to far to walk in a day!

Shopping and restaurants
Canary Wharf is on the site of derelict shipping warehouses and docks. Hugely controversial at the time of its creation, the Wharf has become the site of corporate global head quarters and good quality (chain) stores.
Worth a visit for the architecture and shopping, alongside the restaurants.
