Close to the Gaslamp district yet restaurants will really fill up early on game days so go early. Take a guided tour of the park (fee involved) to get a behind the scenes look!

You'll find a fun dog beach here and cool pier and local shops- I recommend going to OB Noodle House- MAJOR yum!

My go to beach, it has a little park, and restrooms and showers to shed the sand! Walkable to La Jolla Shores Village that has eateries and shops in it. Don't miss The Cheese Shop, a local sandwich icon, and Surf Rider for a cool outdoor beachy feel for a drink or a lunch bite! Surf Diva is a cool little surf shop aimed at teaching women to surf ;-) Kayak rentals and tours available here too and well worth going out on a kayak.
