Folly is very low key with great restaurants on Main Street like Taco Boy. You have your pick of two ends, one with Morris Island Lighthouse and the other with Folly Beach County Park with parking, showers and beautiful views.

There is everything from Antiques to Clothes to kids stores. Most places downtown are on the higher end. If you are shopping on a budget there are trendy boutiques in the Avondale area of West Ashley and a large thrift store. There are also Tanger Outlet Stores in North Charleston.
