The biggest and most prestigious hotel in Amsterdam! With a lovely balcony and amazing entrance it is worth buying one (a little expensive) cup of coffee here and enjoy the view!

Just renovated and around the corner, this is an absolute must see. Le Louvre of Amsterdam! Nice tip; have a coffee in the free museum garden, there is a small cafe also selling champagne!

If you wanna have nice tapas or look how the Amsterdam-25-year-olds generally look.. this is the place! A lot of nice bars around, but a specific crowd i have to say! ;-)

Nice bar, just like de Pils Vogel, both in and outside. Also nice staff and good bread and aoili to go with your beer or wine! :-)

Love this little bar around the corner, waiters are always friendly. Typical Amsterdam bar, with lovely outside area and lots of sun at the end of a long day walking around. Nice to enjoy a beer and talk your day over. Also basic, but good pub food!

Nice restaurant and beer brewery around the corner. Has a nice terras at the back, and many wonderful beers to taste together with a burger and some french fries! Nice getaway close to the apartment.

I used to work for this Franchise concept, and this is definitely the best store in Amsterdam! Good for a nice breakfast, good coffee, fresh juice and a BLT for Lunch! :-) Terras with lots of sun!

My favourite restaurant! Not too big, always fresh food and different menu's, with a beautiful view over four different bridges and the canals!

When exploring Amsterdam you must not forget to explore the Vondelpark. Although often super busy at sunny days, a lovely getaway from the city. It's big enough so just keep walking and you will explore the secret little hide aways. To take a break in the sun, stop at t Blauwe Theehuis for some nice coffee or tea.

Love these Botanical Gardens! Only a tram ride away lies this wonderful Hortus Botanicus, built in 1623! it is bigger then you would expect in the middle of Amsterdam. Lovely to walk around and enjoy some nature. If you like, you can also have a lovely lunch here or glass of wine outside in the sun!
