There's an old and a new part to the Swansea Marina, and then there's SA1 across the river where they are slowly redeveloping the old docks. Nice for a stroll on a warm day.

One of several beaches on the South Gower coast. Personally I prefer Rotherslade before this, the next one Caswell is most spacious, all have outlets with refreshments.

Our family tradition is to walk from the car park to the coast guard observatory, then down to the cliffs. We have never walked across to Worm's Head (falls dry with the tide but make sure you know when to go back).
