Ice cream here is so so good! Rich but not too sweet, and every flavor worth trying. I make my own ice cream at home and am very picky about food, and I simply love this place. The ingredients they use are of highest quality.

We love Squeeze In for weekend brunches. The place is very homey, and the food portions generous. Garlic fries is a must-order, and everything else is good, too, all at a good price. Go early to avoid a wait, as its popularity is well-known!

Great French food! Ingredients are fresh and food is delicious. A bit on the pricey side. It's small so better book in advance. Great for date night.

Creative Korean food restaurant. This is a Michelin-starred restaurant and you do need to book a month in advance. Each dinner only allows about 16 guests, sitting around a communal dinner table sharing a set course. Great for a special occasion!

Filoli--short for Fight, Love, Live, used to be owned by a wealthy family before it was turned over to California as a public place to visit. The house itself is well-maintained and really interesting, but the garden is stunning. If you are in the area in the spring or fall, definitely worth a visit.

The house itself is well-maintained and really interesting, but the garden is stunning. If you are in the area in the spring or fall, definitely worth a visit.
Take a drive down Palm Drive, park at the Oval, walk around the Quad and go inside the Memorial Church. Stanford is picture perfect and a must-see if you haven't been! Just beware that parking during the week can be difficult and many parking spaces require special permit. Visitors can choose to park at Tresidder which has visitor pay parking.

This place is great for walking and biking. In the spring you'll see ducklings trailing their moms in the marshes. If you follow the path all the way you'll end up in Mountain View.
