You can get your produce at the market, there is also a few asian grocer and convenient stores in the area, you'll never need to worry about walking too far for ingredients/snacks. Not to mention, if you're hungry there is also a food court.
There is also live band performances, festivals and night markets depending on the season.
If you need to get medicated, there are a couple of pharmacies in the vicinity.
Also the laundromat is just across the street from the market.

Love desserts? I can't recommend this place enough, the desserts are so unique. I've tried literally everything on their menu. Just know that you'll need to make a booking because most of the time the restaurant is full.
