Access to the incredible (and long defunct) Lemp brewery is more than enough to make a visit worthwhile if you're into old buildings and foraging for dusty architectural treasures.

Excellent place for ramen, small plates, and great cocktails. Swanky design with hipster vibe. It's our 'go to' walkable spot for an intimate celebratory meal or toast.

Can't say enough about this Louisiana inspired menu and fare! This is coming from a girl born in New Orleans. The shrimp and grits is out of this world. Also, upstairs is 'The Chocolate Bar'- a dessert cocktail spot for after your meal. Mildly pricey but worth every penny.

This is the best portobellos burger I've ever had. All meats on the other burgers are carefully sourced, and the shakes and fries are amazing. Plan to wait in line, but worth the effort if you're looking for a back to basics kind of lunch.

I don't even play chess and I love the chess museum. They have genuinely world class, highly curated exhibits in all sorts of interesting, mildly chess related topics. I even saw a great fashion exhibit there. Gift shop is excellent.
