Great, casual pasta restaurant. The pasta is amazing, they have 6 options which are all yummy. Always hard to choose here. There's a large communal dining table, so this place has a real living room feel to it.
Always busy, great for a quick bite. Also has a (heated) terrace.
Get an ice cream for dessert, across the street at Pasticceria.

Just new in town is the A'dam Toren (means tower in Dutch), which has a panorama cocktail bar and restaurant, and a 360° lookout point & OverTheEdge swing on the rooftop. Definitely book ahead! This is in North, just on the other side of the water from Central Station. Very nice & new area. There's a free ferry going there, worth a visit for a drink. There's the Tolhuistuin with a terrace, another big, sunny terrace of the film museum Eye and the new A'dam Toren.

Beautiful park to stroll around, and there's a great café called Park with a sunny terrace to have coffee or afternoon drinks in the sun. One of our favourite places to hang out.
