Bill Baggs State Park ($8 admission fee if entering by car) is home to the Cape Florida Lighthouse, the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade.
Guided tours of the lighthouse take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursdays through Mondays.
There are also two restaurants in the park, but don't expect to be wowed by the food.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. The full breakfasts come with fresh-squeezed OJ and a cup of American coffee. The baked goods are also amazing. [Be aware that they automatically add gratuity to the bill.]

My favorite neighborhood eatery for brunch/lunch. Menu is diverse and ingredients are fresh. Arepas, croissants, eggs, sandwiches, salads... also, the best beer selection on the key.
