This park gets full of people on the weekends during summer. People watch and sit in the grass or toss a frisbee. Walk into the dog bowl to see the pups playing around off leash.

Take the public ferry or take a faster and slightly more expensive Tiki Taxi to the island at the base of Spadina. Cash only for the Tiki Taxis. Ward's island is more quiet and the beach is smaller. Hanlan's point has the nude beach and has a bigger beach. You can also avoid some of the wildness of the nude beach at Hanlan's as well. Center island is good for kids, as it has a small amusement park area.
