If you want to try the Frankfurter specialty, you'll want to go to an Apfelwein-Wirtschaftler or Äppelwoi Kniepe... Kind of a pub...if you want the real deal....order the Apfelwein jug with sparkling water and schnitzel with Grüne Sosse...that's how I've always seen it done. Fichterkränzi is one of many in the same area but its the only one I've tried...very good food, great atmosphere.

Parks & Nature
If you have even a slight interest in plants, there are a huge variety here, too many too see for one day... I personally love it, good mix between indoor and outdoors, and great views of the city on the hill!

Really beautiful park next to the Goethe University Campus, both worth seeing...Palmengarten right next door too.

My most favourite spot in all of Frankfurt; Quiet, beautiful, full with bloom, a small park to read a book in the shade on a sunny day or under a tree in the rain... Always a pleasure

If your coming to Frankfurt it's likely one point or another you'll find yourself at the river.. when the sun is on its way down check out the skyline in all its lights and glory..

I find this museum really interesting, you don't get one in every city and I've seen some really great exhibitions in the past.. they also have a cinema downstairs and show interesting films...worth looking up

I really like this museum, its never really paintings on the wall but definitely art. They've had really good exhibtions in the past and events too. It's not directly on the Main river like most of the other Museums but right at the Römer's doorstep.
