They have a unique take on Brazilian food. They're famous for their bolinhos de feijoada, so be sure to order one of these as an appetizer. They're stuffed with black bean stew and stir-fried kale, and served with a side of crispy pork skins and a glass of cachaça with lime.

Drinks & Nightlife
Very original bar, different from most of other bars in Rio! Canastra serves good wines for low prices and really good brazilian food, including oysters (only on tuesdays). There are few tables and chairs on the street in front of the bar, but most of the clients just stay there standing, with no need of a place to seat. The only problem is that it gets packed, it's good to arrive early.
