The best bagels anywhere. I used to live in Eden Terrace and came here often. Great staff, cool atmosphere, tiny boutique cafe/restaurant. Great pricing

Which city has a volcano popping out of the ocean right in the middle of it's harbour? This is pretty unique. Great day trip and hike with stunning panoramic view of Auckland at the summit. Affordable ferry tickets can be purchased at the ferry building (15min walk) or online.

New developed harbour, with stunning view of Auckland City, Hauraki Gulf, the harbour bridge and Auckland's Yachts. Lots of playful structures, restaurants, cafes, playground, silo park, on select weekends there's night markets and silo park's free night cinema. 15 min walk from mine.
