If you like Thai Food... this is the best you'll ever eat! Again, local family owns it. Suppannee House is a friend who I've known for many years, and she is ever present in the kitchen, overseeing the high quality of the food. Try the Coconut Soup, or the Ginger Pork salad, (and really everything else) ... It's some of most wonderful tasting food on the planet.

Great Iconic mexican food restaurant that has been around since the 70's. Greasy and soooo good. Voted best restaurant on the peninsula for many years running. Best ground beef taco I've ever had (only ground beef taco I'll eat).

REALLY good Indian food. Tikka Masala... wow. Tiny little jewel of a restaurant in OB... worth the visit for a small group.

BBQ! REALLY good BBQ. Outdoor patio, great local vibe. TV's everywhere. Newport Ave. is the heart of Ocean beach.. there are lots of little bars and restaurants on the street. We like the BBQ house better than Phils... (which is not far away and has an hour wait all the time. But Phil's BBQ is also a good place to visit!)
