Echo Park is at an interesting nexus in the city, tucked between hills and freeways. It has a variety of great bars, that are super lively on the weekends. There's a great diversity in the crowds that leads to lots of fun! If you love live music and dancing, Echo Park is the place to be. And late night Hot Dog stands are great.

An often overlooked part of Griffith Park. The graffitied ruins of this abandoned zoo make for an interesting and colorful hike. The network of ruins feels like a forgotten city and the air of history is everywhere.
