Always crowded and happening. just next to marche poncelet. Open till late. Good for coffee or eating.

Ideal for a good breakfast. While it takes 15-20min by walking form our place, it has a nice view on Eiffel tower and service is very good. Our preferred breakfast place.

This typical old fashioned brasserie is well known for seafood platters and fish. It opens till 3am. It is at the end of the Avenue de la grande armee, leaving the Arc de Triomphe on your back.

This place is a typical French brasserie. Many Hollywood stars have been here. You will see their pictures with the owner on the walls. I highly recommend the sweet “Baba au Rhum”, ask to be prepared as for Sharon Stone!

This is the famous Palace build by king Louis XIV. It has a huge park attached to visit as well. Better book online to avoid the long queues. There is no direct line to go there. Recommending taking the RER A till La Défense and from there the train to Versailles.

In the heart of Montmartre. Nice views of Paris, plenty of artist and nice to walk around. Direct metro from Charles de Gaulle, line 2 go out at Pigalle, then walk up.

We love this small museum that has a lot of modern art (early 20th) and great collection of Monet in the basement. Not one of the must see, we love this one.

Nice museum for Impressionism. It can be done in 2-3 hours. Behind it is a nice walking area to towards Saint Germain dès pres.

Shopping
Called les Grands Magasins, this place has all fashion and food. Kind of Nordstrom in the US. Next to it is le Printemps who is the competitor. Both are nice to visit, especially for their famous Coupolle. To go there, RER A and go out one station further at Auber. It has a direct exit to shops. While there, don’t forget to visit the Opera house.
