If you are too late to get into Via Tevere, another good option is this pizza place just towards The Drive from Via Tevere. Very good pizzas and homemade pasta dishes. Large dining room, so can be a bit boisterous, but good food.

Arguably one of the best pizzerias in the city. They don't take reservations so get there early. Note that this restaurant is located in the Downtown Eastside which is a rough neighbourhood. It is safe to walk there but you will see homeless people.

Watch the sailboats drift by, seagulls and eagles fly overhead and, if you are lucky, some sea otters or seals bobbing in the water. The restaurant itself is nothing special but it doesn’t get much better than this patio.
