If there is a place not to be missed, it is Parque Eduardo VII! With its belvedere, on the Marquês de Pombal, and its long gardens, it is one of the most beautiful places in the center of Lisbon. Close to Saldanha, Avenida da Liberdade, is right in the center of Lisbon, a little piece of heaven! The Cold Greenhouse, right next door, is just the icing on the cake.

Jardim do Torel is a small park next to the Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, on the hillside facing the Avenida da Liberdade. It is a romantic spot, offering superb views of the Baixa, the Tagus River and the Sétima Colina, from the Torel viewpoint.
Jardim do Torel is a peaceful oasis, where you can rest and enjoy the nature. You will also find here a kiosk with terrace, serving wine, snacks, light meals and has a bar service.

There are plaques that explain the time they were built, for whom, for what (such as marriages of kings and queens, baptisms, for the pope, etc.), as well as the materials used and the place of manufacture.
