These botanic gardens are a gem in Statesboro. When an old farmstead was donated to Georgia Southern, they kept the house, barn, schoolhouse, and other antiques to make into a lovely little museum and added an impressive garden to the land. A winding path takes you through a variety of beautiful flowers, into a magnolia lined walkway, and a forest of native trees. There are always new things to see, and the free entry means that you can visit as often as you wish.

A great little spot to see wildlife up close. They have daily animal encounters, great paths to see animals, and a beautiful play area. Definitely worth it for kids.
