Fish, eat at Sam and Omie's across the Street, watch a surf competition or surf at this great break, take some breath taking sunrise photos, etc..Outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach, and public bathrooms that are generally pretty clean. Many times there's a food truck or event going on.

Play time at Jockey's Ridge. One of the largest moving sand dunes in the world. Take the kids and roll, sandboard, hanglide, slide, hike, explore. The back entrance has a nice beach on the sound. Nice calm and shallow waters here for the kids.

This is a great park. Just behind the soccer fields there is a dog park for your pups! The dog park is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
