We are about 25 minutes walk from the railway station where you can get trains to/from London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Bristol. The station has a taxi rank outside and a taxi ride to our house will cost around £7-8.

We welcome visitors to the hospital and hospital staff who need to stay over. The main hospital buildings are a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car.

Beautiful medieval cathedral which is well worth a visit. It is the resting place of King Edward II and home of the majestic Great East Window. It has been used as a location for film and TV programs including the Harry Potter films, Sherlock, Wolf Hall and Dr Who.

Church LaneThe Forest of Dean is a large wooded area about 35 minutes drive to the west of Gloucester and on the border with Wales. The River Wye runs along the western border and the spectacular viewing point at Symonds Yat is well worth a visit.
Other highlights are Clearwell Caves, Puzzle Wood, Goodrich Castle, Tintern Abbey and taking a canoe trip down the River Wye.
