One of my favorites. Not close to the house but there are many great places to eat on Division and this is one of them. Indian Street food. Has a great variation of vegetarian and non vegetarian. Casual atmosphere and different from the traditional Indian places.

Love this place for great baked goods, in the heart of Multnomah village so great to walk around. They have a light breakfast and lunch menu as well as great coffee, bread and baked goods.

About a 15-20 min drive from the guest house. This is my favorite Chinese place. They do not deliver but do take out. They make amazing won ton soup and great fresh dishes. I will drive out of my way to get take out from them.

there is Cafe Broder on Clinton and Broder Nord which have been staples in Portland and very popular. Now they have opened Broder Soder (south) which is about a 10-12 minute drive from the house. It is nestled inside a serene location...The Scandinavian Foundation House. It is beautiful and the food is amazing. Brunch and breakfast done in such a unique way. Also superb coffee. While the other two locations have lines out the door, this location is still under the radar...but many people on our side of town already know about it so expect a wait if you go too late in morning.

New to our area, this is an amazing wood fired pizza joint. It's a bit more upclass and serves appetizers/small plates and a great wine list. Has become very popular spot in Multnomah Village.

A must for lunch or dinner. Olympia Provisions is a USDA approved charcuterie shop in Portland, Oregon. They butcher, cure, ferment, stuff, dry, cook and smoke almost every cut of the venerable pig. They also have an amazing restaurant that incorporates their cured meats and other types of meat into an array of dishes. It's fantastic.

There is Mediterranean, Pollo Bravo which makes the most amazing roasted chicken and side dishes. A Ramen place from Japan, Artisan Pizza, Gourmet Sausage and hot dog place among others. And a fantastic ice cream place from the owners of Salt & Straw. It gets very busy but great place to come while walking around downtown.

Well this is listed as our local place for TEA...but it's so much more than tea. Yes this is a wonderful place to get a pot of tea but there is a wonderful breakfast/brunch and lunch menu. Atmosphere is great and they do make very yummy tea sandwiches as well.
