This place is so MUCH more than a park, 2.5 miles of walking and biking trails, farmers market, events, train rides, huge fun play area for kids, sorry no pets, tours, special events, 158 acre lake , picnic and grill areas with gazebo, shelters, lodge, gazebos, amphitheater, bike and boat rentals, fishing, splash parks, •Gardens: rose garden, aquatic garden, fragrance garden, community garden, children's garden.

By far my favorite place when the weather cools and the manatees head to the heated waters of the electric plant, kyack with the manatees or just walk through the park and enjoy the views.
