The Sandia Tramway has spectacular views of the entire city and beyond! Epic views and you can access many hiking trails via the Tram and even go snowboarding or skiing from the top. Make it up around sunset for a stunning experience.

Wonderful hike with beautiful scenery. It can be challenging if you're not in shape. Steady incline and steep in some areas but the view is worth the energy expensed.

Great outdoor experience for all. Most of the small trails have a difficulty similar to a fight of stairs, but even if that isn't an option, there are other interesting archaeological finds to check out. Very informative and clear signage throughout. Most importantly, super affordable. Just pay parking rate per vehicle up front.

The ABQ Biopark Botanic Garden is a 36-acre botanical garden located at 2601 Central Avenue NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico, beside the Rio Grande. The garden showcases plants of the Southwest and other arid climates, and includes a 10,000-square-foot conservatory, formal themed gardens, and a demonstration garden. We recommend going during the River of Lights during the holiday time period. It's truly a sight to see!

The carvings are whimsical and have so much detail in them that you can spend over an hour exploring the stories embedded in the Western town. We enjoyed the Western town more than the circus. Bring a camera; there's plenty of great shots to take all over the place. It was our favorite stop along the Turquoise Trail.
