Morish hearty food with a Turkish flair. Great for brunch and dinner. I'd particularly recommend the evening menu with the starter for two people sharing. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. There brunch is worth queuing for!

The best Indian food in Dublin. Fact! Budget friendly, lots of dishes to choose from and great , friendly service. Their dosa are delicious and great value. This restaurant also serves as a takeaway. It's far from fancy in decor etc but the quality of the food makes far out weights what it lacks in the cosmetic department.

Enjoy delicious Italian pastries like cannolis, tartes, great coffee, savoury bites like cheese and charcuterie boards, great wine and of course my personal favourite - Aperol Spritz. Be warned, all of the above are served with a relaxed / sometimes frustratingly slow serving style. Worth it if you've time to relax and chill.

Their cake is home made and really delicious. Their weekend brunch menu is great. Small , intimate space , if you do decide to go for brunch, go early - before 10:00 am at the weekend. If you do end up queuing it will be worth the wait.

This arm of the National Museum is set in one of the largest Georgian Barracks ever built by the British. The historic building is one of Dublin's most interesting and home to a treasure trove of interesting historical items including the Asgard - a famous yacht used for gun running. This museum is just a short stroll from my home

The Irish Museum of Modern Art , set on a splendidly historical campus of the soldiers hospital. Definitely worth a trip, if just to enjoy a walk around the magnificent grounds.
