Very sheltered swimming beach with a small playground for the kids. An anchored pontoon is great fun to dive off at high tide. Great picnic spots on the grass reserve.

Take a fullers Ferry out and hike to the volcano crater for awesome views of Auckland. For the more adventurous there are lava caves to explore - take a torch. If walking is not your thing, take the choo choo train to the top for the view.
