After being closed for renovation out Nationalmuseum is now open and its Sweden's museum of art and design. The collections comprise of painting, sculpture, drawings and prints from 1500-1900 and applied arts, design and portraits from early Middle Ages up until present day.

It's the shopping street in Stockholm, almost 2 km long filled with stores and a few cafés. You can eaisly have a walk from Gamla Stan, pass The Royal Palace and then walk across "Riksbron" and that's where the shopping starts. Its a very nice walk!

Sightseeing
Beautiful old town with colorful houses, a bit touristic but with great small cafés around and also a few bars at nighttime. The iconic square Stortorget and the very narrow street Mårten Trotzigs Gränd are worth a visit.
