Dot's resident Nepali cooks offer optional Nepalese items for breakfast and lunch. Specials are usually extra good. Don't miss the raspberry coffee cake for breakfast with an espresso drink!

A little ways out, but the best Indian food in the Boulder area, in our opinion. Fresh ingredients make the difference. Cooks spice food to your liking (mild, medium, hot). Wonderful service. Quiet place.

Wonderful selection of teas. Outdoor seating in summer.

The ladies here know their stuff -- they cook a great gyro, gyro greek salad, tabouleh, rice pilaf, baklava and our favorite, the lamb shank dinner. Prices are very reasonable. You can eat in at their few tables or take home. They sell several styles of real middle-eastern style Feta cheese by the pound or chunk. Park in back for free!

About a 2.7 mile circle trail that goes by a lovely little pond at the midpoint of the hike. Great views. Mingle with cows in their pastures. You might see rabbits, prarie dogs, coyotes, snakes, eagles on your way. North of Boulder so not far from our place.

Park a few blocks away to get longer-term parking (up to 3 hours) and walk over to Pearl Street.
