A great outdoor mall, Atlas mall has everything to keep you busy for hours. Atlas mall has a movie theater, restaurants, an outdoor beer garden and shops. A great local place to spend an off day from touring the city.

This is the reason I live here. Forest Park is one of the largest parks in NYC and it is right across the street from the house. It has everything from hiking trails to ball fields and even a carousel.

Rockaway Beach is a popular summertime spot. It is over 5 miles of beach and boardwalk. Surfers flock to Rockaway Beach in particular year-round, as the area contains the only two surf beaches in the five boroughs. Rockaway beach is only about a 30 minute bus ride.
