Eat Street operates on the weekends. It is very crowded but has an amazing selection of foods served out of shipping containers. Good to get there early around 4pm - when it opens .

This place is amazing. An old building right on the Brisbane river with the most amazing view of the city at night. The club is run by volunteers - so prices are reasonable. Meals are huge. If you like jazz - this is the place. It closes early around 10.30.

This place is interesting- an old pub in near original condition. There is live music however the real attraction of this place is the old arcade games . Save up your $1 and $2 coins and test your reflexes.

Half the fun of this place is just finding it. It opens after 5pm on the Fri- Sun. A little roof top bar providing glimpses of the city skyline. Love the fresh little towels provided to wipe away the city sweat. They will make a cocktail to your liking. Interesting flavours.

A day visit to Moreton is certainly worthwhile especially in summer. This is a great place to participate in some adventure sports - snorkelling around the wrecks or sand boarding down dunes. You can feed the dolphins. Check out day trips to Moreton Island
