This is modern Italian at its finest. They have two menus: 1) small plates. Think Italian Tapas with great cured meats. and 2) The regular entree menu. Great service and great ambiance.

This is the closest "nice" restaurant to the apartment. Very vibrant bar scene and the food is really good. And when I say bar, I mean wine bar, not people getting drunk.

This is old school Italian dining. The restaurant is kind of dark and it is in the basement level. The servers are out of central casting from a mob movie. Try anything Flambe style; you'll love it

They have two locations: one in the basement and one on the rooftop. The food is very good at both, but I prefer the rooftop when the weather is good. Great views.

This is a very small place, probably only 10-15 tables and two small bars: one upstairs and one downstairs. The food and drinks are eclectic, but really good.

I'm told this place is good all the time, but I've only been for brunch and I love it. I heartily recommend the breakfast sandwich or the eggs Benedict with a glass of fresh OJ.

If you want a unique experience, this is it. Have an appetizer and a glass of wine while an artist teaches you how to paint a picture. It takes about two hours but it is great for a couple or group.

This is a full service restaurant too, but I go their for the cocktails. The bartenders are outstanding and will be able to mix something that you'll really enjoy.
