This nearby Tiki Bar has a great selection of local craft beers, but are known (& loved) for their cocktails. Almost every syrup is made on site, and they are always happy to chat with & recommend drinks (even off menu drinks) to customers. Food, aside from cheese plates, is generally not available.
This is my favourite bar in the neighbourhood.

The Dylan recently opened and has quickly become a favourite place of mine. They have a huge selection of craft beer (including cask!), have amazing feature cocktails, and frequently have live music.
Food is available and super tasty. I recommend the jerk chicken wings!

TTC fare is $3.25, however if you know you're going to be taking the TTC more than 3x in one day, or are travelling with another adult, it's worth getting a day pass from a ticket agent at the station. They are $12, 1 pass is valid for 2 adults, and they work on all TTC underground & surface routes.

This butcher shop is a great place to pick up handmade delicious sausages, local, ethically raised/sourced meat & seafood or, you heard me correctly, lunch! They make amazing sandwiches and the selection varies daily.
The staff is super friendly, more than willing to offer cooking/pairing suggestions and very passionate about what they do.
Oh! And there's occasionally an oyster bar too!

They also offer a full dinner & brunch menu (weekends), and were featured on "You Gotta Eat Here!"

This Japanese-French bakery offers interesting takes on French classics, daily soups, fresh made bread and pastries.
The coffee isn't strong enough for my taste, but it is decent.

This sandwich shop is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Everything is made fresh to order and is absolutely delicious! It's licensed, so you can enjoy a tall can with your sandwich, or take it to go.

Celena's has a good selection of house made cakes, cookies, pies and pastries. They make excellent breads, soups and sandwiches. I will often stop in on weekends for a treat.

Woodbine Beach offers a large strip of sand for you to relax by the water, take a walk/jog/bike ride on the boardwalk, play some volleyball or meet new people. It's a great place to spend the day, and is very accessible from the house.

The Scarborough Bluffs offers some of the best views, hikes, and scenery the city has to offer. Hit up Bluffer's Beach, go for a hike across the Bluffs through Cudia Park, Cathedral Bluffs Park, or Scarborough Heights.
