Only 15 minutes walk from the apartment. This is where you can catch a ferry to Devonport, Waiheke, Bayswater and other places. There are several bars/restaurants/coffee shops near there as well.

Albert park is such a peaceful park, yet it is in the middle of the city. It is just a short walk from the apartment. A perfect place for a picnic and a relax on sunday afternoon.

Within the area of the university of Auckland, there are a few spots that you should go if you want somewhere quiet and peaceful. Just walk around the university and you will find it (it is the same direction as Albert park, the area near the clock tower is my favorite)
