This is where all the hipsters hang out. It´s the old meatpacking district and there are some really nice bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Really cool place under the bridge. Situated along the side of the water, along with the kayak rental and kayak club. Drinks and food - open all day. No serving at the tables, you need to go to the bar to order.

Christianshavns Ramparts form a playground for children and a place to enjoy long runs. The old bastions and paths along the moat also make a great walking route. There have been trees and shrubs here since the fortifications were built in the 1600s, and out on the moat live coots, moorhens, grebes and swans.

Ganni is a really nice danish brand (womans wear) that recently opened this outlet store at Christianshavn. Almost half the original price and really nice items.

A Belgian deli. The owner Eric is obviously very passionate about what he does and it shows. Delicious meats, cheese, and a great wine and beer selection. It is a very unique place. Perfect place to stock up for a picnic.

Sankt Annae 8 is a small, but very friendly and cozy corner restaurant with a prix fixe menu. it's very popular with the locals and they also serve tapas and great vine.

This is the place all Copenhageners go to if it is hot and sunny.
Open air swimming right in the centre of the city. Meet local families with children, beach boys and regular swimmers alike.
The quality of the water is checked daily. There are five pools in all, two of which are specifically for children. There is a lawn in front of the pool where you find lots of room for sun-bathing, picnics, ball games, etc.

Cirkelbroen is designed by Olafur Eliassonis and is a new artistic landmark for Copenhagen. Based on the Christianshavn district’s maritime history and culture, Olafur Eliasson used the sailing boat as the visual point of departure for the design of Cirkelbroen.

We have been waiting may years for this bridge that connects Nyhavn with Christianshavn. Now it´s finally here and its a really nice walk or bike ride with a great view.

I recommend you walk along the nice lake and look at some interesting houses/architecture. The map is not accurate. You have to move a little further down Prinsessegade or by the lake to get to the main area of Christiana.

I recommend you walk along the nice lake and look at some interesting houses/architecture. The map is not accurate. You have to move a little further down Prinsessegade or by the lake to get to the main area of Christiana.
It was built as an astronomical observatory. It is most noted for its equestrian staircase, a 7.5-turn helical corridor leading to the top, and for the expansive views it affords over Copenhagen
