Lumen is at Mikszáth square, one of my favourite spots of Budapest. Nothing special, nothing fancy, but grat coffee, cool people, nice athmosphere. ANd they have very nice beers too!

Gólya is a very authentic and iconic bar of the city. The real hiippie place. They have beutiful food, great stuff, and life music almost every day.

A very tiny but cool underground techno club with great events, wide drink choices and cool stuff. Absolutly a must if you like underground scene!

Szimpla is the BIG name in Budapest's nightlife. The original ruinbar feeling makes you fall in love. Its quite touristy, but you definetly have to check out. Szimpla is a must.

Auróra is the other underground hippie/anarchist spot next to Gólya Presszó. Both of the places is guided by communal ideas, and hosts rebel events all year long.

The best view to the city, a forest in the city, in the amazing hills of Buda. Takes around 40minutes to get up there by public transport, but it worths every minute if you want to get out from the city.

Shopping
This is the famous Market Hall of the city. You can get there every kind of food ingredients you can imagine. The building is an architectual genious, and you can also eat there Lángos, the famous salty pastry with loooads of garlic. Yumm :)
