This is a local steakhouse with a lounge feel to it. Expect to pay $15-25 per plate. The food is quality and the atmosphere is unique.

Sightseeing
I believe it's the oldest building in San Diego and the first mission established in California.
It is still a fully functioning Catholic Parish and you can attend daily mass there if desired.

Most children in San Diego by the fourth grade have learned about the Presidio and its history. It over looks Mission Valley and is a sight worth seeing once in your life.

This is where most locals take in all their water sports. It's a large body of water that's calm enough for swimming, jet skiing, and water skiing. In the summer months its surrounding parks are filled with locals enjoying the summer weather.

Parks & Nature
If you're considering some time either at Sea World or the San Diego Zoo, the Zoo is the more bang for your buck. It's relatively inexpensive to enter (comparatively) and you can get lost there the whole day.
In the summer, we're there at least once a week with our children.

I believe it also has fishing and non-powered boating. There is no swimming allowed in the lake.
