The women of Vif are wonderful and their place is just great.
With coffee in the morning and wine in late afternoon coupled with delightful home made pastries and goodies, Vif is a treasure.
I believe their espresso is superior.
Generally open until 6:00, but now open until 9:30 Friday and Saturday.

One of Seattle's smallest parks is tucked on a cliff about 5 blocks from our place. Famously saved by our famous Fremont entrepreneur Suzie Burke, the Peak Park was built with City and Volunteer labor and is a magical spot.

"Green Lake" has a big lake, a park, ballfields, swimming, paddle boats, a par 3 golf course and a 3.2 mile trail around the lake for walking-running-biking-rollerblading. It is busy when it is sunny. It is pretty great for an early morning walk.
