It's always exciting at the Pier. Every day people are surfing, playing, and relaxing on the beach, and walking up and down the huge wooden structure. There's shopping and bike rentals nearby plus great dining, even on the Pier! At night, fires start up along the beach. Paper lanterns and glowing helicopters are often seen at night too.

You can get tons of seafood - anything you like at the Harbor. And they have whale watching and you can rent just about any type of sea vessel - from paddleboats, big boats, sail boats, to the zoomin jetski. Also there's a very quiet beach nearby and a Jetty you can brave if you dare - Its a little scary, but fun.

Its fun, its big, its colorful, and its convenient. If you like seeing movies and you want to do it in Oceanside, here's the place. Its right downtown close to the beach.

Great seafood, fun atmosphere, and huge portions. This place is a little pricey at times, but totally worth it. The steampots are gigantic!

Fun little shop. Quiet, small, and delicious. Sometimes I think the employees are a little rude, but I can't complain about the food and coffee drinks.

Cheap, delicious, and amazing views. Its maybe a mile outside of Oceanside, but the drive itself is fun and eating here offers a great outdoor feel, right by the beach.

My favorite restaurant EVER! Its so cheap. Its so fast. and the view by the window shows a beautiful golf course. Teri Cafe has the best - Banzai Ramen, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, sashimi bowl, and pretty good sushi in general. If you like healthy Asian food, you'll love this place.

There's about 10 trails you can hike, close enough to society for good parking, and far enough in the woods to get great pictures and a good workout.

There's lots and lots of museums, parks, nature, and a zoo in the Balboa park area. I recommend it to anyone who wants to do a lot of fun activities. Don't be afraid to walk - you'll do lots of that out here.
