Of course you have to see the famous abandoned air port stripe "Tempelhofer Feld" or "Tempelhofer Freiheit" (Tempelhof is the area where it's at, "Freiheit" means freedom) when visiting Berlin. Start from the beautiful (and kinda hipster) Schillerkiez in Neukölln. If you like, you can rent a longboard or whatever you need for a great time out on the field (frisbees, analog cameras, guitars, ukuleles, ...) at our friend's place "hase".

Enjoy a day at Rehberge. Here you can find one of the most beautiful park-sides of Berlin. There's also a open air cinema over here!

This is where you find all the stuff. From Bear & Pull to Zara. If you want to have a huge shopping day, go and fight with hundreds of people for your starbucks frappucino! If not, don't stop reading! Actually interesting is the "Gedächtniskirche", an old church bombed during world war II. which is located here, as well.

A shopping mall trying hard to be different ... and succeeding from time to time. The architecture to begin with is extraordinary and fun, too - if you're lucky, you can see the little monkeys from the zoo right next to the "Bikini Berlin" through a huge window of the shopping mall. Coffee is more expensive than usually but it's still in the Berlin price range. ; )
Constantly changing pop-up stores with interesting fashion and design stuff. On top of the roof you find a Gestalt/Bistro and another restaurant. Of course you can also see the monkeys from here.

The architecture to begin with is extraordinary and fun, too - if you're lucky, you can see the little monkeys from the zoo right next to the "Bikini Berlin" through a huge window of the shopping mall. Coffee is more expensive than usually but it's still in the Berlin price range. ; )
