On the same site are located Montreal's botanical gardens. You can check out their exhibits online, which change with the season. There is a greater butterfly exhibit, bonsai tree exhibits, a fantastic Chinese lantern exhibit in the summer as well as in the fall pumpkin sound and light show that brings you through through the forest of the botanical gardens.

The McGill University Health Centre is located down the street. It is a brand new hospital, where the Children's the Shriner's and the Royal Victoria Hospital are housed. It is down Decarie (a 15 minute walk or 3 minute car ride).
