Excellent breakfast spot with healthy options (they steam their eggs instead of frying them using steam wands). Food is great and affordable.

FRESH FISH tacos! The proof is in the display case where you can buy sashimi grade raw fish. That's how fresh their fish is. Amazing food, kid friendly during the day and a great place to grab lunch.

Hidden gem. Authentic Thai food in a place where you wouldn't expect it. Try the chicken avocado curry. Super cheap but the quality is outstanding. Advice from me, an avid cook who is half asian.

There are many tapas restaurants in San Diego proper but most are "fusion" restaurants or tourist traps. This is 100% authentic and great for groups. Order paella, the octopus and the jamon iberico!

A great drive over the Coronado Bridge will take you to the famous Hotel Del Coronado. Romantic at sunset (bring a blanket). Great spot to enjoy a beverage (behind the hotel) in the bar patio area.
