c. 7min by car/ 30-40min walking - The beach bars at Playa de la Garita are fabulous for food and for budget, and the truly the best location right on the beach. there are 2 beach bars quite close to each other. Check them both out.

Saturday nights it is the venue for a great band - The Toñín Corujo Quartet - who play a wide range of music including English and American jazz, rock and pop. Starts at 10:30pm. A really great night out. And Jameos del Agua by night is simply stunning.

10min by car - the longest lava tunnel - a giant series of caves, you can walk through, and enjoy some spectacular scenes. One of the best attractions of Lanzarote.
There is also a concert hall located deep in the caves. Concerts are held here regularly.

15min by car - another Cesar Manrique creation, this amazing lookout point, serves as such with amazing views over the straights to La Graciosa, Alegranza and Montaña Clara, but also a really really cool space to just hang out for a few hours. Snacks and drinks are served here.

30-40min by car - Timanfaya National Park is the most visited site on the island of Lanzarote. It is a stunning and dramatic volcanic landscape, untouched by man (well except for the gift shop!!). Joking aside it is well worth a visit if you've never seen an original volcanic landscape.
