The Marine Provincial Park provides hike-in camping, swimming, kayaking, hiking and picnicking. Smuggler Cove is a small, picturesque all-weather anchorage on the south side of Sechelt Peninsula near Secret Cove. This area offers a fantastic year-round hike with boardwalks over the marsh. The hike that is short, relatively flat, and accessible to people of all ages (we have done it with our two little kids). Views overlook the Straight, Thormanby Island and Texada Island.

Smuggler Cove is a small, picturesque all-weather anchorage on the south side of Sechelt Peninsula near Secret Cove. This area offers a fantastic year-round hike with boardwalks over the marsh. Pebbly beach close by with some sandy spots at low tide. Not marked as "beach access" so a nice quiet spot. Views of Thormanby Island.

The Historic Halfmoon Bay General Store is located at the other end of Halfmoon Bay. You can walk out to the government wharf just a few steps away. Great little cafe next door for those that need a treat or a nice lunch!
