Summer or Winter, the gondola ride to High Camp is well-worth your time. The resaturant on top is usually open for lunch, and early dinner on summer weekends. Hot-tup and pool. 360 degree views of Tahoe Basin.

Dinner Cruise of the lake gives you all the highlights and history of Lake Tahoe, and the best vantage point to view the scenery. Skip the traffice and take the cruise, especially if this is your first time!

Our favorite for boarding/ skiing! 30 minutes up hwy 431. Go early (before 8:30) and enjoy one of Gus's famous breakfast burritos. Best value for ski lessons. Best childrens learn to ski program. Highest terrain (8260 elevation) so the driest snow in the basin. Nice combination of ability levels for skiing. If you are already a skier and have your own equipment, head to the Slide Side (Winters Creek lodge) to avoid the crowds. Slopes are all blue and black diamond rated on this side. Easy parking and less crowded.
