DaVinci's is the best Italian if not just the best restaurant in town. The place is a bit pricey and a bit pretentious but maybe it deserves to be. They have a nice bar and piano player. They are closed on Sundays (this is Salem people).

They food is really good, they are opened from 10:30am to 6:30 p, Monday thru Saturday. This is how they describe themselves "From amazing appetizers to decadent desserts, everything we prepare reflects our passion for Northwest cuisine and beyond." I think that is pretty apt.

This is a bakery and a deli and a local musician hangout. Lots of fun and great food.

This mall includes JoAnn's, Pier 1, the Home Store, and Best Buy to name only a few. There are also quite a few restaurants in the immediate area.

Bush Park is really nice, you can tour the Bush House Museum, walk through the park, i think it is 35 acres, and browse through the rose gardens along with other gardens. It if very nice and in the summer the Arts Festival is held here.

The park is right on the Willamette River and has biking and hiking and swimming and a merry go round with a craft area for carving and souvenir shop. Lots of events are staged here in the summer.

This is a remarkable park full of 24 miles hiking trails and 14 miles horse trails between a series of ten water falls on 9,000 acres of forest land. It is really one of the wonders of the world.
