Go for a walk through Kensington Gardens and up to the Serpentine Art Gallery. After you've taken in some culture walk over the Serpentine Bridge to the stunning Magazine Restaurant, designed by the late, great architect Zaha Hadid.

This is not a park but there was no other category under which to list it. This is the second oldest botanical garden in England, established in 1673 and it is a wonderful oasis that has survived in spite of wars, property developers and goodness knows what else.
