People stand in line weekend mornings waiting for Scratch bagels and pastry to come out of the oven. Locals get their goodies early and then walk Willard Beach sipping coffee and eating pastry. We always go here for birthday cakes! Their coconut cake is one of our favorite but really you can't go wrong here. They even sell dog treats!

Okay it's public transportation I guess!? There is nothing like Casco Bay Lines on a hot summer evening. It doesn't matter where you are headed. We love to go to Peaks Island where you can rent a kayak or bike. Eat at the Cockeyed Gull at Sunset!

Perfect place for a walk and bring the kids and your dog. Lovely trail around the edge of the Island and gorgeous views looking back at Portland. Check out the fairy houses. Parking is limited so it's never crowded.
