There are places to eat catfish and then there are great places to eat catfish. Sherry's Kitchen is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 2 miles from our house is Sherry's Kitchen and it is a great place to eat catfish. Best around. Go left out of our house, go to stoplight, take a right, it is 1/4 mile on right. You will not be sorry you tried this place. Bring cash, they only accept cash.
The food is fantastic. If you love oysters and seafood this is the place. Gulfport has numerous pubs and eateries to walk around downtown and enjoy.

This is the most unique place to eat on the coast. The Old French House has been visited by people from all over world including Presidents of the U.S. The food is 5 star and the atmosphere is the best Biloxi has to offer. Have a drink in the courtyard under the 2000+ year old oak tree. Dine in the old French House which is stood since the 1700's.

The Dock sits on Gulfport Lake and Bayou off of Seaway Road. You can sit out on the pier and watch boat races, listen to live music, enjoy their waterside bar, and the food is simply wonderful.

Steak and Shrimp cooked with owner's own marinade over a real pecan wood fire. Interesting little place with some real local flavor. You will really enjoy the simple crap salad that comes with every steak meal.

If you want seafood and are fond of Diners and Dives you will love this place. Seafood is fresh, try the boiled crabs, shrimp, or crawfish. This is a local secret so don't spread it around too much....:).

26 miles of white sand beach. Gulfport Harbor has concerts and a large park and splash pad for kids. Beach goes from Bay St. Louis bridge to Ocean Springs bridge. You can walk or bike the whole thing as there is a board walk the entire 26 miles.
